ABN AMRO MISSION 2030
Dutch bank ABN AMRO aims to have all their clients’ homes, offices and their own real estate rated energy label A by 2030. In order to share this mission with the rest of the world a unique customer experience was open to the public during the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament in Ahoy Rotterdam. Visitors could step inside a house shaped like the ABN AMRO logo, right in the middle of the house a smaller, house was suspended with a bright light right in the middle. The light installation displayed 7 intricate laser-cut illustrations – designed by Sjoerd Verbeek. The illustrations show the issues, the goals and solutions forming a great spectacle of light and shadow on the walls. The light installation was accompanied by a voice-over focusing on all elements of the 2030 mission over the course of a few minutes. The installation provided an immersive, memorable and symbolically strong platform to convey the message of ABN AMRO.
